Depends on the complexity of the coils. Is the vape more hard hitting at lower ohms or higher ohms?

Depends on the complexity of the coils.
Power delivery will be quicker than if you used fancy Clapton's as less metal to heat. Everybody's definition of "hard hitting" is different so I just build to get the power delivered asap.
Ahhh ok. When I say hard hitting I just meant that someone on this thread mentioned that vaping at 0.2ohms was like breathing fire, which I obviously don't want. So was just wondering how increasing/decreasing the ohms affected the vape
You really should be able to answer this yourself if yo are going to be using mechs.
Lower ohms = more power = more heat = more vapour
More air over coils will cool things down.
Depends how you want to vape.
If you want great fuck of clouds then all the air you can get over the coils an keep the draws short enough that you do not burn your tonsils off.
Not personally my idea of fun. I like a nice long draw that does not get hot so High ohms and air closed down which might be the opposite of what you want.
With a mech i would always say for safety reasons to start with higher builds.
If you make a stupid mistake the closer you are to safe limits the sooner you will blow your face off.
You can always remove a wrap from a coil to lower the res if it is too high for your taste.
You can not add one on if it is too low
