Hi All,

My Fat Rabbit Solo RTA is leaking from the bottom air intake area despite being re-wicked and checked a number of times. I've made sure it hasn't come loose from the RTA body.

It's driving me nuts.

Any clues?

Take a pic....

I mean, there is really only one way for that to happen, juice going down through the airhole, it doesnt look like there are any other seams.

Im looking at the deck, it looks like the juice well is notched back towards the center, is that all covered up or blocked?

Edit-sorry, it was the pic, i guess thats a plate towards the center...anyway, take a pic from straight above it and from the sides so we can see

Can be one of two things.

Either:

You don't have enough cotton over/in the juice wells. The juice is coming up the wells and flooding the deck.*

Or:

Your cotton is fine in the juice wells, but the inner side of it is resting on the airflow, allowing the juice that wicks up the cotton to touch the airflow, which will cause it to drip down into the airflow.

*One other consideration here is if you lightly wick it and it works at first, but you suck too hard, you can sometimes actually cause the wick to move, blowing it upwards as it were...

I've never had the Fat Rabbit leak on me and just wicked it like I would anything else

As mentioned above, try Red's method and check there's no cotton anywhere near the airflow on the deck

Is it those tabs that r causing it to leak like that? Maybe the juice coming up the cotton, then going back down the backside of that metal tab and into the airflow. Thats rediculous tho.

Did your Just Jam order arrive yet? Try those in it.

Yes, a couple of days ago. They're both super sweet and if I'm totally honest not that great in flavour. I'm not getting the taste of sponge or biscuit. The Digby's Dr Jekyll on the other hand is lovely!

Just shows how taste is subjective. I can taste the biscuit and sponge in both. Two of my favourites.
