RTA is leaking...this can't be right

I gave up messing with RTAs that can leak unless you are a ninja wicker years ago. The simple solution for me was only use top air input tanks.

Not to everyones taste but for me a leak free tank is vital; I hate clutching a sticky mod (no sniggering at the back please) & even a hint of a leak ruins my enjoyment.
Dude, i get it, no shame in that.
After a while u may not get great at wicking at first, but u will learn to at least not flood it.

(Honestly, i have had more issues with stock coil tanks puking their juice out the airhole compared to rta's)

I will stick with zero leaks every time thanks, dude.

i am puffing a doggystyled clone here. i’ve been using it on and off for about five years and i don’t think it has ever leaked, and i could probably sort out the wick with a blindfold on. i think atties that are prone to leaking or need some kind of voodoo cotton insertion skills are just poorly designed. so i would say go out and get yourself some nicely designed easy tanks that don’t leak. :)

i’ve never had a top airflow tank either. it seems like an unnecessary complication to prevent a problem that doesn’t exist if the tank is designed well in the first place.

Well I re-wicked my new THC Elite Pro and must have done something right as it works nicely. Only negative comment is I didn't realise that the coils are so physically small in comparison to the much larger (both in diameter and length) of the coils for the Fat Rabbit Solo. The Elite Pro coil posts are so close together as to not be able to accommodate anything larger. This means a max of around 20 - 25 watts on the 0.6ohm coil that came with it and not a great amount of vapour or throat hit compared to that of my Drag S.

The Elite Pro is an MTL tank so is ideally suited to small MTL coils and 50/50 juice - it isn't designed to throw clouds as most MTL vapers use higher nic juice and big clouds of high nic juice will probably make you feel ill.

U r using those reggiec coils right?

If u get the right coil for the right tank it only take 3 or 4 wraps to make all the vapor u need

Edit-between reading it and writing it i forgot u said u were using the coils that come with it...my bad

Probably need to learn more about coils. I just see people with the most humongous coils with complex wrappings thinking that must be better than a tiny one...

Nah, not always, ive seen people say their juggernaut or framed stapled alien stuff not work as good as a plain clapton or awg as many of the peeps on here like

Edit-my benchmatk is the amount of vapor the gtx .6 or .8 ohm coils make (or the nautilus 2s), since thats what it takes for me to like, and i was getting that out of the ether rba with 2.5mm fused claptons
