Short fills and long fills to be included in the ban

aye for sure, it seems to me they are total chancers and ripping the arse out it. he’s had a point a few times i’ve managed to sit through his videos. but that doesn’t mean he’s still not a horrific character of a person :)
Should be made PM then, he would be well suited to the job.

Im sick of the whole fkin show already, Vic's got a point, just shows how the whole industry is disjointed and greedy....fk them....I like tobacco and menthol anyway:)

I can see why the vaping trade bodies have taken their position against the disposable ban because they must feel under considerable pressure from many of their members who fear the sudden loss of what has been a valuable income stream for their businesses.

I just think the trade organisations need to think more about the future of vaping in the UK. To my mind disposables are a gonna. Virtually no-ne is really going to put in the big effort to try to save them because there is no credable case for keeping them.

The flavour ban is the most important battle and that's where they need to put all their effort.

As for Vic, I quite like some of his stuff. He has his faults just like most people but I'm not really into getting into too much negativity against people without a pretty good reason. I've oftem found his videos helpful, along with most other YT reviewers, many times in the past.

Assuming lurkers can see this thread Vic is doing a good job of getting the word out, the bloke deserves a break from all the character assassinations. His latest vid about the crowdfunding had me looking around via google, some right shady fuckers behind it all.

He absolutely is doing a good job of getting the word out.

i have found my my self nodding in agreement through his last two videos

the response to this bollocks needs to come from everywhere, influencers, large vendors, small vendors, wholesalers, trade accs and users. In fact thats the only thing i disagree with him slightly on - he is putting all the emphasis on the trade fixing it and seperating vapers from the trade, from my perspective and modus operandi - i see it far more one big community that needs to pull together. But i understand his anger.

but it all needs to converge into one unifying campaign - rather than fracturing into the multi group mess it was over TPD.

it may well be self interest. they reply on their member organisations creaming in healthy profits so’s they can afford the £10500 a year membership fees, and attract new members. it’s lucrative. remember they are a trade body. their remit is protecting an industry and supporting it to maximise it’s profits above all else.

Well they ain't done a great job on the bib.

Those trade bodies...
I've never really understood what they actually do (except for have some kind of supposed stamp of approval for your company, and some boss person talk to the press etc)...

I remember the first one for vapes back in 2010 (can't remember what they were called), I actually liked & knew the founders a bit.. super-exorbitant fees not on a sliding scale... (not sure what happened to them)
I was part of an email thread before it actually formed with to-be-members full of self-importance arguing about over-intellectualised toss...
.. needless to say, we didn't subscribe.
