Should I lower my nicotine?

much smoother than freebase nic. 20mg salt is smilar to 3mg freebase but you get a quicker buzz and if you vape too much you can get light headed or feel sick. if this happens then just stop for 30-60mins.
may suite you better as you dont vape that much.

has it tasted strong from the start or did it get stronger the more you vaped. could it be the coil thats on its way out.

liquid are ok for some. tried many of theirs over the years.
another new vendor just joined us. worth trying vape69 where you can get 3 bottles for £1 delivered.

Always tasted strong even with a new coil

Only just stopped smoking

Have a go if you feel ready but if not stay where you are and ask the guys to help you with ways to find a smoother vape perhaps.

If you do have a go, keep a tank of the 12ml with you to take a few vapes if the urge to smoke kicks in :)

Edit: I see @MrDJ is trying to help with a smoother vape :)

keep the bottles of 12mg then and buy a few 9mg and maybe a 20mg nic salt (no throat hit and will feel like a 3mg strength) but you will get the nic hit you desire.

Thanks will try that, do you think it could be the one pound e liquid brand?

it could be but thats just a guess as it was many years since ive used them. i think i remember having a couple that were harsh on the throat.
another one worth mentioning is 88 vape who are also vendors on here.
ive bought thousands of £££ of juice over the years and even some at £10-15 for 50ml have gone down the sink.
a dearer brand but some seriousy good flavours is dinner lady.
another one that had decent strong flavours was vampire vapes.

thing is it might not be the juice but the strength of nicotine. the only way to find out is to buy a variety from different suppliers to see what suites you.

I think NIC salts are amazing when you want that NIC without being harsh. I started on 20mg down to 10, then 6mg freebase NIC and for about 6 months or more 3mg. I could probably go NIC free as I think I vape because I enjoy it more than fighting a craving. Try 6 but pick up some NIC salts in 10mg to try also

Initially I found 12mg Freebase incredibly harsh, invariably it gave me a sore throat , higher nic Freebase was worse on the throat so I gave up MTL vaping completely and changed to DL with 3mg as I just found stronger Freebase juice painful to vape after a few hours,

I vaped DL for 3 years before trying MTL again. I started with 12mg - the same sore throat problems came back instantly. I then tried nic salts for the first time - no sore throat even with 20mg.

I advise you to just buy a single 10ml bottle of nic salt juice to try out. There are no guarantees, and just as many people have problems vaping nic salts as there are with freebase, but its something you can do for a couple of quid that will let find out instantly if your problems are down to the nicotine level being too strong for you or you are having problems with freebase. Its worth a go.

It's up to you to experiment to find your happy place. It took me months of feckin around with different flavours and different PG/VG ratios to work out its actually high strength nicotine that affects my vision.
