To be honest mate, I know we have to crack on, we will have to live with this virus, possibly forever. However, until everyone realizes that, it's gonna be a case of keeping safe. I've had both jabs, last one about 8 weeks ago. That doesn't mean I can't catch it, just means hopefully, I'll not be seriously ill if I did get it.
Just stay safe & be sensible is my view.

The only thing that should continue ought to be a blanket ban on travel until the rest of the world catches up with its vax programme. But we haven’t done that simple thing because Tories want to visit their second homes abroad.

I don't think I would go into a shop without a mask and I would be nervous of going in one where most people weren't wearing one.

I think Scotland have the right idea. If restrictions have to be lifted then masks and distancing should remain mandatory in shops and on public transport. Pubs, cafes, restaurants, gigs, people can choose to go or not but people have to shop and travel.

^^^ This. I’m not interested in going to restaurants, gigs, etc, but I still have to sit on a manky bus to get to work. The least they could do is keep masks mandatory on public transport and in supermarkets.

I will still wear a mask in shops and when ordering a pint etc. My mate was allowed in and through into the back garden yesterday, first time since March 2020, my wife seemed as equally concerned as to whether he had used Lynx, I agreed with her, that stuff is shite.
