What's new

Still no delivery from myepack!

Royal Mail was running at Saturday hours on New Years Eve, so not a working day imo. We had to have a 7am order cut off to get everything there. The last mail truck was leaving just after midday down here so the same nationwide I expect.

Then surely they shouldn't of offered GUARANTEED next day delivery then? But I understand the issue. Would just be nice to hear from them.

Also, my regular postie never delivers "next day" stuff, it always arrives by van of some description, and usually a long time before, or quite a while after the regular post delivery.

My money is on it arriving later on by van. :D

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for too, in some respects it's handy my daughter is poorly (not that I want her to be obviously) so probably staying in all day anyway lol.

+1, Royal Fail have been delivering, because a parcel I sent out on New years Eve, has made its way to sleepy Norwich today.

Myepack are in my top ten of vendors, and never have I had to wait 2 days even with standard delivery, so this really isnt them. If you have received the dispatch email, then their job is done, its in the hand of Royal Mail. They have till 1PM to get it to you, so you still have 95 minutes to wait!

Just thank my lucky stars I am not your postie! :lol1:

its actually NEXT WORKING Day so they could argue that it wont arrive until tomorrow as yesterday was bank holiday. also Special delivery has a cut off of 1.00pm so if its not there by then it most likely wont arrive. ( unless your in a certain postcode area that is either 5.30pm or 2 days)
as for making a claim.. you cant.. only the sender can so you would need to get onto myepack and ask them as they would have to provide proof of posting /receipt and even then they would only get back the difference ( maybe £2-4 pound at best )
also track and trace on special delivery updates AFTER delivery or after delivery attempt and is for the senders benefit to show the parcel arrived safely.

my guess is there was early close of operations on new years eve so next day would actually be tomorrow

Ooo if possible can you let me know when yours turns up? And I'll let you know the same. I'm just holding out it comes by courier but don't want to be stuck in all day waiting. Saying that the other order I had the tracking number was perfect and updated properly.

No problem.
I`ll post back on this thread when it turns up.
It wasn`t trackable at 10AM this morning so my bet is it`ll turn up tomorrow...

I`d be willing to bet Ash will reimburse you some or all of the shipping costs but you`ll have to take that up with them.

Pretty sure NYE and NYD are not classed as "normal working days" by RM either...

Ah, bless her! :( Keep positive. Watch some crap telly, and try not to keep jumping up and looking out of the window every time a car goes past - that's the challenge for the day until your parcel turns up, which it will :D

If it makes you feel any better, I am waiting for delivery of a mod too, and RM track and trace has no information. Then I realised that it only has information after it has been delivered! D'OH! So much for the track part of the service!

A pair if shoes I ordered before New Year were delivered this morning by DPD, who sent me a text message at 7am telling me that they would be delivering between 8 and 9, and the drivers name! They turned up at 5 past 8!

I was lucky the postmaster told me about the half day the day before so we could get a note up on the site about the early cut off. I checked on RM's site for dates and times about the holiday hours and the info was there but not prominent like the last recommended posting info for Christmas is.

I thought the majority of vendors were closed till the 2nd tbh

Track and Trace usually has information but only on the actual day of delivery.
Usually on the morning of the day of delivery I get "Your item is out for delivery".

This is not consistent though it often just says: "Tracking information on this item is not yet available" even AFTER it`s turned up.

I must say I love DPD service, always early (6.50am before!) and always kept informed.

I know I'm sounding like a right whiny so & so but like I said, I've waiting long enough just to order it lol. I know it's not myepack's fault but I can't seem to get ahold of anyone there just to confirm details etc. It's one of the reasons I used them was down to their service. Just confused as to how something I ordered elsewhere half hour after my big order it arrived this morning and it was just 1st class signed for which was actually free.
