i saw a 600 800 and 1200 puff disposable in my local garage for sale 3 days ago it was quite clear on the poster on the door containing the fags which was open of course

there it is laid out for you... were trading standards at the door, were the police in full riot gear dragging the peddler of kiddie vapes out...nope

a small garage 40 miles in the deep countryside middle of nowhere

but as I said when someone asked me what I do for a living what would you rather have a 16-year-old doing, smoking, drinking, using nos or drugs or a vape, this is the thing it's illegal for a 16-year-old to drive a car or to buy booze so this is cut and dried, it's also illegal for a 16year old to buy a vape.

the ban I expect is going to happen then smoking will increase torys will blame labour, labour will blame the torys and the smoker will still smoke

Were I live its easier for kids to buy weed, back when I was younger kids smoked hash. Is there even a real problem? I do see the odd youngster having a vape, but I always used to see youngster's having a fag. I dont have a solution as I dont want any taxes or bans as that opens the doors up that will effect everyone. Just feels like problem>reaction>solution they want the solution so create the problem. There must be a better way to move people over to refillable devices.

They could tax disposables to make them more cost prohibitive.. but it looks like like there is gonna be some kind of blanket tax on vapes anyway...

Why try to stop people who don’t smoke from vaping? This is the very thing desired, that people don’t smoke, yes? So, if people vape instead of smoke then they’re not smoking - job done.

not as effective as banning them though. and imposing additional tax on any vape item is not really desirable.
