UK Gov To Ban Disposables?

If they are allowed to form the government, then the establishment will have approved it. Any threat to the establishment is always destroyed politically. See Corbyn for an example.
Salmond in Scotland is another example. He was a threat to the UK state,, and we saw what happened to him.

who do we mean by the establishment? bank of england, security services, super rich folk?

i might agree to a point but i think there is a danger in thinking there is a highly organised conspiracy behind this. corbyn for example, was as much shafted by the right of his own party than anybody else.

i don’t know the ins and outs of salmond’s situation but is it not sturgeon and the snp,
who he claims were conspiring against him?

There are and always have been perennial malcontents who are not happy with any form of governance, fortunately in the UK anyone is free to float their ideas (policies) and lobby support to promote themselves into politics. The problem is usually that the malcontents are self centred and cant see that governance is for all and that their niche policies have zero support in the general public.

I don't think there is any organised conspiracy, as in meetings behind closed doors.. The establishment simply knows how to manage the system in their favour. They went to school together, are on the same boards of directors, in the same clubs, are given large 'consultancy' fees from rich donors, etc, etc. Politicians, judges, CEO's, the military, the media, the security spooks and such like have the system they want, and know how to keep money and power in their hands.

i don’t think it is quite as straightforward as that

I never mentioned the balance of power or equality because they dont come into the discussion, the point I was making is if you dont agree with something, do something constructive to change it. It seems that some people ( not particularly you ) think that by abusing the elected officials things will majically change to their favour.
