I think so. Here is to me unrecognisable now. I used to hear how people would love to come to Australia, how free it was, how easy lay back. Forget it, that's a pipe dream now, thing of the past.@Tazz I thought England was the (political) cesspit of corruption, immorality and psychopathy, looks like your lot might even be in first place
Nah, its a flood here of black market stuff. People kids, adults getting on the net because its so hard to get Nic. So they go on line go get vapes with Nic. You guys can get Nic easy. We have to jump through hoops and do moonwalk dances to get it and even then its like drawing blood out of a rock! The reality here is that. The Govt hates it, the media hates it, Drs hate it. So its for the majority get vapes with Nic, Adults, near everyone, black market. Im just lucky I did what I did and have enough to last till I kick it in my freezer. Kids, smids, its everyone trying to get a nic vape. They play the teen kids card to make it, vaping, look bad overall.it seems to be mostly about teenagers puffing illicit disposables.
The same propagandists are busy in the UK using the ubiquitous "...think of the children....." BS, slating the colourful cartoonish ads used by the '...couldn't give a fuck...' juice industry. The old Fabian tip-toe of death by a thousand cuts is alive and well in the Brit media who push the agenda of those determined to reduce the industry to menthol and tobacco sealed systems which will eventually be all that is available from the fag companies. Pessimistic.....yup, cynical even...yup, but it is happening before our very eyes. Who would ever have thought they could have stamped out the industry to the extent they have in the US? but they have and it is coming here, they will not let us become the cause around which the wagons of defiance can circle. It's nuts huh! This type of thing is in our news several times a month, often several times a week. I get emails from our vaping Advocacy people with petitions, contact our local MPs links every week. The misinformation is off of the chart and I don't believe they dont get it or are ignorant, I believe they just want vaping gone as they make more $ from other methods of smoking cessation, Drs, therapists, other nic replacement systems like gum and sprays. They would lose millions if they backed vaping, plain and simple. Utter dogs, it's not about health and or helping anyone, its bucks kaching and that's as clear as day.

That type of article hits near every week. They want it to appear like you said. And the public falls for it.
Richards reading it between the lines correctly.

My advice? get busy building, get busy mixing and get busy planning to have your own independent supply, although it's easier for old farts like me who already have one foot in the grave.
Cooling ingredients A common ingredient used in tobacco-based cigarettes is menthol. This ingredient has been included in tobacco-based cigarettes for many years. Menthol imparts a ‘cooling’ sensation when inhaling tobacco smoke by soothing the irritation to the throat and airways caused by tobacco smoke and nicotine vapours. This sensation allows smokers to take easier and deeper inhalations, thereby increasing the dose of nicotine to the body.
Menthol also reduces the metabolism of nicotine, thereby increasing the presence of nicotine in the body. In a similar manner, the presence of menthol (and other ‘cooling’ ingredients) in e-cigarette/vaping solutions may increase the appeal of nicotine-based vaping solutions. Other ‘cooling’ ingredients include WS-3 (N-ethyl, 2-sopropyl-5-methylcyclohexane carboxamide; CAS No. 39711-79-0) and WS-23 (2-isoproyl-N,2,3-trimethyl butyramide; CAS No. 51115-67-4). Both are used as food additives but are becoming popular in ‘ice’ labelled vaping solutions. The flavour of these ingredients has been described as having a mentholic, cooling, minty, eucalyptus and camphorous taste/effect. Recent scientific literature has raised concerns about their inhalation toxicity when used in vaping solutions.

And your point is...?Options
1. Make no legislative changes to current border controls.
2. Prevent NVPs being imported under the Personal Importation Scheme exemption
under the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990.
3. Impose tighter controls on the importation of NVPs by requiring an import permit.
4. Introduce controls on the importation of all vaping products through the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 (the Customs Regulations), to assist with the enforcement of the controls on NVPs (rather than with the aim of limiting access to non-nicotine vaping products).
5. Options 2 and 3 together (preferred option).
