Anyways, assuming 3mm ID, they check out as kanthal, around 0.8 ohms each coil, so half for a pair, the reading you are seeing is about right, ie around 0.4

So with the pack saying 0.45 would that be for a duel build, if so then I'm fine but I always thought they only advertised what it would be for single build plus they are 3mm id

All depends on what you actually bought and what they were advertised as. I'd imagine they will be horrendous anyway with a loooong ramp up and a tendency to burn through the wick as they cool down.

It's sat at 90 Watts for a quicker ramp up plus sometimes I hear sizzling when cooling down

You'll notice the heat capacity is vastly reduced too.

+1 for nicrome.... Kanthal take ages to ramp down.. Fasttech has a few 10 pack claptons @0.7 ohms.. My always come out 0.33 dualled. No more after sizzle
