is it the liquid control that you are thinking overcomplicates it? other than that there is nothing complicated about it, it’s much like many other tanks. even the liquid control is less complicated than most others as it just has on and off.

That was the main thing, I agree. I rarely do get on with JFC, to be honest.

Maybe 'complicated' was the wrong word for me to use, just all seemed too fiddly for me.

it was easy to build and wick, easy topfill with a push fit cap etc. what i consider fiddly are devices that are fussy with wicking etc., can’t be arsed with fannying about.

i get you though, i’m drawn to super easy devices recently. cylinders with a coil in it and a hole in the side to let the air in.

That's it. I can't even be mithered messing about with airflow under the coil on the Ares 2. I don't want dozens of airflow configurations. I'm happy with 4 holes on the side.

This is what I love about MTL, the simpler the better. I find, anyway. None of this pissing about with dual coils and big daft wire that's impossible to wrap around a jig. Big 200ml bottles of chocolate mouse flavoured juice. None of that malarkey for me. Nonsense.

you should get a wee squonker and some small single hole drippers. it’s as simple as it gets, for me. and there is something about the puff quality i struggle to get from a tank.

I've got a Pulse mech squonker and Pulse RDA. Got them a while back, somewhere was knocking 'em out cheap. Not touched it in ages though. Got loads of decent wire that looks like lorry tyres in. Might get some 90/10 syrupy nectar in and blow massive clouds in me kitchen.

Seriously, though. I might. Summat to do. I forgot it's there.
