I'm being thick here but how do you quote someone on here now?

I was doing fine after the site change but now I'm not doing it right

I'm sure before I clicked the + Quote button & it would say "Multi-Quote Added" or to that effect & I'd write my reply in the reply box & the quote would be added to it

Now I try it, it doesn't do that so I'm doing something wrong

Could somebody please enlighten me
