I doubt your theory is correct.

The Frontline NHS Staff do not change them every 20 minutes, as they don't have enough to do that.

I could go out to shop etc in my full body suit, and high quality mask that would protect me from dangerous chemical particles that I happen have.
For two reasons, several frontline staff have died in the last few days, so any mask you equip yourself with is not necessarily impenetrable,
Also why would I assume that I should be more protected than anyone else.
I take my chances, with the rest of the population.

I've been told a hospital up here is doing that with none specialist masks. The point I made was everyone doesn't have safety gear and will just buy surgical masks and think hey I'm safe lets go out.

im glad the mask debate has quietened down

today I read with interest that a dr in the lancet has said about air conditioning and the spread of the virus hence the mask to protect me from you not the other way around but the doctor is correct airconditioning unless filtered will spread the virus....... but I noticed on the way to work a woman in her 4x4 with a mask on and windows open yep dickhead a little knowledge is very dangerous air conditioning in enclosed buildings, not Suzuki Jimny's
