Right now I agree with that. As we get larger it will pay dividends to have built the right reputation I reckon.

Arnott will never endorse e-cigs because to do so would derail her nice little NRT gravy train. Beware of people like that and remember, it was never about health.

I may have mentioned before on here that I am still very much pro-smokers because even though I no longer smoke I am still very much pro-choice, people as adults should be allowed to do what they want to do so long as it's legal. People like ASH, Arnott and all the anti-tobacco extremists are only after one thing, and that is complete control of your life.

Can I also recommend a couple of blogs that I am a reader of, these blogs are pro-smoking but it is very important reading for us vapers because we will be soon on their target list.

I am big into my blogs, you'll find a lot more truth on a decent blog than you ever will from any mainstream media outlet (i.e BBC) or organization (i.e ASH) who always have a vested interest.

I agree 100% about not being anti smoking. It's easy and understandable to feel superior and use terms like 'stinkies'' and so on. I do it myself. But without Vaping we ARE smokers in reality. As smokers we stubbornly defended our right to smoke and we should remember that our bodies are our business. Celebrate the switch to Vaping (and I do) but don't denigrate those who choose not to

Quite a number of smokers have told me that they have been put off vaping by the fact that some vapers had become rabid anti-smokers after switching. (Maybe there's some truth to the adage that converts make the worst fanatics). My reply's always been that on the other hand, other vapers have become educated about the wider issues surrounding smoking. You seem to see more educated vapers now that you do a few years ago - I am constantly amazed by how many vapers have an indepth knowledge of vaping science and smoking issues.

Knowledge is power, and if we are going to fight the good fight we need all the facts as ammo
