Hi i bought a http://www.vapingthings.com/VIVI_V5_WITH_VISI-SLEEVE/p1311952_8068696.aspx and filled it with eden...2 tokes later it gave the bad plastic taste....so obviously burnt out...so i took it apart and cleaned it out..took the coil off and replaced with another ....filled it again and after acouple of tokes its done the same again..im only running it at 4.2 not to powerful ..any help would be good.. thanking you very muchly :grin2:

what ohm is the coil?

are you dry burning first to test for hot spots?

Coils arent touching the metal inside correct?

and are you priming the wick first?

Tip! This works for me... I cut ONE wick as close to the head as I can, then wiggle it out the other side. I find the coils are sometimes too tight...

Bad plastic taste maybe some form of primer on the coil which should go after a while. If its truly a burnt taste then its a wicking issue. In other words the juice hasn't fed the heating coil before firing. I always let mine soak for a while before Vaping any of these clearomisers. Personally I also find that the bigger the tank capacity the harder the wick has to work to feed to juice to the coil at the top.

i am priming first all the stuff stig showed me to do..it might be what mark says...i will toke it abit more to see if it just needs time to work properly ..but the taste is rank lol

I had a similar problem once. It turned out to be simply a dodgy batch :(

Without any strict quality control at the moment it does happen I'm afraid

I have given it another clean out and thrown some DK TAB in and seems to working ...the coil was slightly to the left near the outer shell so i just moved it center ...seems to be working now thats 20 tokes ..seems fine...winner :)...thanks peeps :)

I some times take dry tokes without activating the coil so that there is some momentum to allow the juice up onto the coil.

On a ickle side note i made my own christmas holder for my new ecig :P
