Burning kayfuns

Pissing me off now, problem is persisting, i get several good hits and then it starts burning, which tells me it isn't wicking quick enough.

Problem is, I've done this builds daily for the last year and apart from the odd crap build this has never happened before. All i can do at the moment to avoid dry hits is cover the airhole every 10 draws and suck to saturate the wick, ive now closed the airflow right down to aid wicking but am finding the draw too tight for my liking.

Where the hell am i going wrong?!

For a full blown scientific investigation you could try your Kayfun outside.

Haven't really kept track but I'm pretty sure I get more dry hits at home but I think to be fair I'm clutching at straws here, it's got to be something more simple

Cracked it.
Kayfuns fine all along, vw mod fucked, firing 6v every now and then burning everything.

Man well done on finding that,,,, could have had you guessing for a long time. At least I know my mechs won't be doing that to me any time soon.

Putting one of the kayfuns on a mech and getting no dry hits was the eurica moment that made me check the vw

I don't see what all the hassle is...easy peasy..only had one failed build since I got my kayfun a few weeks ago...nae rocket science ..

I think you'll find the answer to this one in post #15. Not so easy when something else is causing the problem.
