Yeah that’s the ohms 1.5 - 2.0ohm it varies depending on the length of the legs that go into the terminals. That’s just a rough estimate. You can never tell the exact ohms until it is fitted in the deck and tested with a mod or ohms meter. 1.5-2.0 is for a coil that is made with 5 wraps, at 2.5mm Inner Diameter.

@Celticbassman it doesn’t really matter, higher resistance will heat more at lower watts, but lower will mean you can bump the power up a bit and make more vapour. with the thin clapton wire i always went for round about 1Ω or a bit lower, and slightly more watts than i would use with single wire.

no, 0.96 will be fine. i’m puffing a dvarw at the minute with stainless plain wire and it is reading 0.86. 13w with 0.8mm air hole and it is all good.

When mine was a touch lower i still had the zerker on a gnats ass pinhole for a nice tight draw.

Did you follow any guides for installing and bedding in coils? You know, strumming it and glowing it to see if it glows evenly from the centre outwards and has no "Hot Spots"?

I only ask because Ni80 can read the ohms lower than it should, until the coil is properly glowing evenly.

My understanding is to increase the resistance (ohms) increase the number of wraps or use a thinner gauge wire.
