Dna200 help and coil info need. Please

That kind of result is also often due to having too much wick, try it again with a bit less wick and lower temperatures...
Awesome. Thanks for the advice so far. What ohm should I really aim for with ni200 ? 0.15 ? Most rda I have are duel coil do been making them spaced but still quite long do struggling to get above 0.06 ohm

You really need to get above 0.1 for reliable results...

Thanks for the reply. I have played about with setting for ni200 and still can't see to get a good Vape.

I have a steam crave dual build 36awg ni200 @ 0.06ohms. Could you have a look at my pics and maybe help show me what's wrong ? It's Jumping up and down trying to keep my 443 degrees temp. I have checked atomiser analyser and my build is a solid ohm reading.

Did you mean 26 gauge and 36 was a typo? I've got a dual coil 26g Ni200 build in my Cthulhu v2 which is reading 0.04Ohms and it's vaping beautifully at 70w and 230c, sounds like it may be a wicking issue as Tubbyengineer suggested.

Have you changed any of the mod settings on the Lavabox?

Hi. Yeah defo a typo lol. No I haven't changed any settings. When I noticed his reply I'd already pulled it apart. At the moment am busy building and having a mess around on steam engine. Once I have a csv file for my wire. Eg titanium, do I have to download another csv if I have a different size build with different resistance. Or is the csv just for the wire and as long as am in that profile I can put any resistance build in ?

Thanks for the help. Am new to this tc and trying to get into it [emoji106]

You just need the csv for the metal, doesn't matter what gauge, wraps or amount of coils. So only one needed for Titanium. I've got a couple of spools of the stuff but haven't tried it on my Lavabox yet. Just Ni200. SS 317L and NiFe30.

Awesome. So just a file for titanium. stainless and nife30. Don't need a csv for ni200 ?

Just got some nife30 today and waiting on the ss coining.

Ni200 is built in to the mod so it already has the TCR graph so a cvs for it would be pointless. I tried the SS 317L in my Aromarizer RDTA and was pretty disappointed. Seems better to use like Kanthal rather than TC.

Edit: And check Escribe - Mod tab for the battery settings. My Lavabox was set to 8 watt hours and a 3.66v soft cell cutoff and the battery life was abysmal. Changed it to 9.9 watt hours and 3.09v for the cutoff and get twice as long now.

After watching reviews I seen a ti build in a steam crave and reckoned it was amazing. I also have a steam crave rdta and had a ni200 build in it. That's what you guys maybe thought I had a wick problem with.

So really once I have my csv files loaded on its the case of matching my tank to the correct profile. Then adjusting my temps and watts from there really ?

I swapped the SS for NiFe30 and it's much better for TC now, I just don't think stainless steel is that good for TC.

Yep pretty much, upload the Ti cvs to a profile, set the preheat, temp and wattage and then make sure on the Lavabox you change to the profile that has the Ti TCR and tune it to how you like.
