e-Cig Battery Explodes... Discussion?

A friend of mine sent me this via Facebook telling me to be careful. (Btw im not phased or anything I know I don't abuse my battery)

But why do you think this was? My personal opinion is damaged battery possibly used and abused hard and also I believe charging via USB isn't as sa
Anyway I haven't read it fully but just thought itd be a warning to others and also something to discuss

It turns out as pointed out by KMS the muppet was using a non standard E-cig charger overloading the battery, it was inevitable

What idiot uses a 10 watt converter plug to charge a small ego battery? If only he could read the manufacturer instructions.

Thats what I use! What's the chances he's bought a cheapo copy £3 charger off the bay.....

Does everybody use their phone charges for these or a dedicated wall charger? Mine gets a little hot but no hotter than when I charge the iPad for a few hours.

I wouldn't be too happy if I owned TW! I've had excellent service from them! So I'll be shopping there again regardless

Most likely! Fgs a few quid isn't worth yours or other people's life.

I've only used TW once and I got a badly machined cheap dripper the threading sheered off straight away. Slightly annoyed but hey there customer service was excellent within 10mins of emailing I had a reply and they bent over backwards to help as it was stuck in my battery. Anyway got a replacement and apology next day.

Can't complain at them though theres always bound to be a bad one in the batch but they rectified it quickly

I tried to charge my tv remote battery using a 12v car battery charger and it blew up. Why did this happen as its still a charger is it not. anyway got to go now and play with some knifes on a rail track while wearing a blind fold
