Unless I've missed something, and I'm sure someone will put me right if I have. The decision to exclude EFVI from VF14, is based on two reasons. Money and politics.
Politics:
I was under the impression that EFVI was about the right to choose. The right to vape what you like, within reason. I don't see any political bias in that what so ever. They don't support any particular political party, to my knowledge. Their sole purpose, as I see it. Is to get the TPD changed for the benefit of all present and future e-cig users.
Money:
As someone said £95.00 for pitch (with insurance). Potential cost of cleansing leaflets. (not allowed, so N/A).
I've read also somewhere, that EFVI is not what VF is about. If it all goes t.ts up, you won't be allowed to advertise a VF, let alone hold one.
And if VF is all about vaping, drinking and looking at things I can't afford. I do that most evenings. All the fest type events I've ever been to, have info stalls scattered about.
So what's the point of any fest type of event, if it is not used to spread info about. If it was a double glazing firm or something, I would understand it. But something that is about as vaping as vaping gets. Be it political or not. I fail to see why the organizers didn't "ask them" to attend, you would have thought they would have put them at the gate, and get everyone to sign on entry.
This is my view, of what I see as an idiotic decision, and not necessarily that of this forum and it's other members
