EFVI not allowed at Vapefest 2014

From reading the thread on UKV it sounds like cooler heads are prevailing and the EFVI people are talking with the VF14 people about sorting everything out.

Maxcat... I'm a one man band, not a big company or whatever...I dont mind spending my own hard earned money for vapefest. I'm trying to do something a bit different from the big boys...So far, I,ve not made ONE PENNY FROM THE VAPING COMMUNITY ...I really don't know what you mean by the "Big Brown Envelope"

I certainly dont play politics and dont take sides....

Chill. I do follow your posts and think it is great what you are doing. Would love to see more
UK/Scottish mods (It was not aimed at you btw)

As far as I can see this is not about forum v forum, and I'd appreciate it if we could keep this thread away from it. This is about the VF organisers and an apparently bizarre decision. There may be a good explanation. I'd invite them to enlighten us

After that response I hope no one attends their event, including vendors. That sort of response shows what type of people are organising this thing.

They say they have encouraged it. Maybe true, but they decide not to in the biggest vape meet of the year. This is the time that the EFVI needs not to be promoted, but to be made aware to everyone who may not know what the EFVI is actually about.

How about stickers if not flyers, we could get them to the vendors to give out??

You sir are a diamond for how much you're doing for efvi. It's wrong that VF14 have made a decision and are not prepared to listen to reason(seeing as so many have pointed out) about something that would have such a dramatic impact upon themselves, the vendors and all the people that attend their event

@KurlMeStoopid. I feel a bit shocked that someone would think of you like that! You have earned your respect within this community. At risk of sounding a bit weird, I (and probably many others) view you as a mother figure within this site

I just do what I can

all seem rather sad tbh shame as im sure its an amazing experiance but if leaflets are a litter issue then surely this wont help looking at the VF website? maybe they could of just added a signup page into that and left boxes etc for it at the car parks/entrances??

Print the Showground conditions below and bring them with you. Without them you
will not be able to camp. Everyone needs their own copy.

Because they're probably realising it was a dumb idea to exclude efvi and are turning it around under pressure

Wasn't aware of that (£50 + £45 charge), as I haven't bothered with a stall this year.

The price is still low, as vendors will make a packet on this day...

My position remains the same, it should be a fun event, i don't want to see petty controversy ruin a good day, vapers should be united right now... Sure it'll all get sorted...

ok so lets put a call out to ALL vendors.. to ask them to issue a flyer with every sale... if we can get at least half of them in on this what can VF do to stop them.. if they ban the vendors there will be no vapefest..There is a list of vendors who are supporting it on the vapefest website.. sure cant be to hard to get in touch with them all ( many of which are on here already ) , because its there livelhood at risk as well so theres not a singlr reason for vendors NOT to support the EFVI in this way.
