Unfortunately as I said a lot of vape companies and by extension shops haven't helped their selves by not seeing the signs and changing their packaging which would've helped as these people would have less to fuel their closed minded policies.
I did exactly the same -Did any one else notice that under the 'flavour' restrictions question you were asked if 1. Tobacco. 2. Tobacco, mint and menthol. or 3. Tobacco, mint, menthol and fruits should be the only flavours available.... Nowhere in this questionnaire are you given the option to select NO flavour restrictions.
The cynic in me can't help noticing that this survey can be used to show that everyone who took part agreed that some flavour restrictions should be introduced.
i did leave a comment at the end highlighting this 'oversight'
Framing the questionnaire that some kind of restriction on vaping flavours is inevitable is not a redeeming quality and depressing.
True but the other day I walked into a local vape shop and they had a disposable that looked like a prime bottle with a straw coming out personally I don't have a problem with that but someone who is anti vaping can use that to push their narrative and the tabloids will eat it upI can see that a little but vape companies me included what are we to do you have booze in packaging of Scottish scenery plus brewdog and many other beers and ciders have appealing packaging even energy drinks that give you more power plus of course knives clearly shown in clear packaging it’s not the manufacturers it’s the sellers you can’t blame a kitchen knife company for the rise in stabbings (75% increase since 2013) if the shops did the checks if vapes were not in every corner shop being sold under and over the counter to kids we would not be in this position
I put £100, because -do you think a fine should be issued and the options £100 or £200
Fining retailers is not going to stop underage vaping.
if a store knowingly sells to underage and gets raided because of it do you think a small fine will change their mind from doing it again. no they will laugh and be selling again the next day. bigger the fine may make them think twice.I put £100, because -
i think they’ve just worded that clumsily. it’s only applying to tobacco for smoking.
