How many duds is reasonable (coils)

Hi mate, not sure which ones exactly you have. But I had a Freemax Fireluke Meshtank and had several packets of them in the singles, .15 ohm 40-90w and I personally found the quality of them to be appalling! They died early all the time, couple of days the flavour would drop off by like 70% and by day 4 to 5 dead. When I mentioned it here my use of sweetener was blamed. But using the same mixes these days with Naboo, Plex, Advken, I get on average 9 to 10 days. And I cant recall a dud amongst them, all very consistent in quality.
Cheers - yeah I guess its one of those things ain't it!!

Lol post #6 explains. #1 was context haha. No biggies :)))

Poor and misleading context.

"Everyone" thought you were on about aspire coils due to absolutely no mention of freemax.

If I'm asking a question about a car, I don't talk about a kettle for an hour before mentioning what I actually want...

When I started vaping I used to use BVC and BDC Aspire coils and there was always 1 or 2 that would burn out quickly after I got over my own user errors thats kind of why I got into DIY tanks 1 coil out of 5 to fail is 1 to many IMO.

Only stock coilers I have had which actually didnt have any duds were the Nunchaku ones but someone elses milage may vary as I only used the tank for a couple of months at most.

Lol need to have a butchers at some of these mentioned @Cloudtastic @Tazz , they're like Martian to me !!
Cheers for all your input folks.
Apologies for any misunderstandings
Time to untwist those knickers

I recently started to roll my own so any duds i'll have to complain to myself. Unless its possible to get dodgy wire.

I've heard of mislabelled wire, but never heard of dodgy wire. Stick to good retailers and you'll be fine, I recommend stealth vape.

Even one dodgy coil per pack would annoy me, once in a blue moon is acceptable. I've seen stock coils where the cotton isn't even touching the coil.

As above, I mostly rebuild so not a huge issue for me. Dabble with the odd stock coil vape now and again, usually nautilus coils.
