Herd immunity is not a fairytale, in a lot of instances its a viable solution. Not saying tho it's the way with Covid tho. It's a problem when you have a PM who believes in the fairytale of Hurd immunity and the infallibility of his superior genes.. He, and they, don't care. They are prepared to let 1000s get ill and possibly die.
think about this, if you're sceptical. The gov has allowed more people to die. Than the number of British civilians throughout WW2. And that just COVID. 1.5 times the number killed in WW2, have died as a result of Austerity under the Tory and coalition govs. It doesn't fill you with confidence, at all. That they have the will, never mind the competence, to help anyone but them selves.
I'm not defending the way the government have handled this situation but let's be frank, any of the governments would have made a mess of it. Yes, things would of been done differently, some better and some worse.
Very harsh to say they've done nothing to help people tho.
As I indicated in my earlier post, this government have relied on the British public following guidelines but unfortunately there are still a percentage that dont seem to understand or dont care.
