I was 11 when I first tried smoking. My old dad used to smoke roll ups so I undid the buts and made a roll up out of all the bits. Tasted bloody horrible but I kept at it lol

haha...

yeah, it's not normal is it? It's not like I was smoking all the time or anything but it's like I can't remember not having the desire to smoke. I can remember being tiny and sitting watching the ash on my nan's fag getting longer as she sat there with it in her mouth and being utterly fascinated.

I was 11 when i stated smoking as well but my 1st try of a cigarette was a few years before that, an old friend had stolen several cigs from his mother, he kept them in a box that you would get chalk in, they fitted perfectly, such a vivid memory for me.

It's so weird thinking about it now... but I'd bet that your interest and desire to smoke didn't happen at that moment. I'm thinking it had been in your head for years. It's messed up really.

roll ups were brilliant.....I miss them, damn....that first draw in the morning aw light headed and staggering about the place was a blast.

That's the scary part, most of my most vivid and earliest memories are about smoking.
