Leicester faces local lockdown

That was my point mate. I decided to try it myself. I am one of those blokes who doesn't follow the norm or what society classes as norm.
Sheep mentality does not exist within me. That way i can only blame myself for anything that goes wrong. But it does lead me to wonder about why others copy each other or do as they are told without even questioning themselves if it is right or not. Ben Kenobi " Whos the more foolish, the fool or the fool that follows the fool" It's abvious its those that foollow .

As long as your sure, me, I find blaming others for my mistakes leads to a good nights sleep:)

Lol yes i get that. Its always is someone elses fault. At the moment i have a disability discrimination thing going on with Asda and another one with the local council for breaking data protection act. Because they are trying to take bedroom tax . They phoned my ex wife to question her about my claim. CAB are on this as we speak

As a youngster, almost every adult around me smoked. It becomes the norm inside your head. You want to be like the grown ups. You start smoking.... and that's it.

Luckily for my kids, nobody they see regularly smokes now apart from their two grandmas and they both cough like troopers so that's enough to put them off. They've also watched their mother and I stop smoking and are fully aware that it was for health reasons. I'm also pretty sure that they are a little bit proud of us both for doing so.
i was brought up in a non smoking family. Nobody at all smoked even in my extended family, group. So I wasn't influenced by them quite so directly. Though the rebellion of being the only one, and it being such a taboo subject. Probably contributed greatly. Plus it really pissed my parents off. Which at 13 is your sole job, as I recall.

I started smoking so I could play postman's knock, with the other kids on a caravan site at Braystones in Cumbria, when I was 13. I really fancied one of the girls in the group. And it was a chance for a freebie,( cough) so to speak. I didn't have another cigarette, till a couple of week, after school Holidays finished. Then some kid tried to tease me saying I was too scared to smoke. So being a 13 year old numpty, I grabbed the half fag he was dangling in my face, and finished it. I smoked then, continually till sept 2018, when I found vaping.

Braystones in Cumbria is about 9 miles from where I grew up. Brings back memories. St Bees beach is quite close too. All ideally placed next to Sellafield power station.

The rebellion thing is good. It shows you value your own self being rather than putting up with rules you do not agree with or with what others think you should do. Your life is yours it isn't anyone elses, so do as you feel. Just don't ,thieve, be discriminating commit violence ( unless struck first) or do anything to kids anything else is none of anyones business

Yep. We went on Holliday in a beach chalet, for many years, then moved up to the caravans site overlooking the beach. lockhearts were the owners, if I recall correctly. I wonder if Stuart still runs it?

lol. Use to go crabbing just of St Bees head, with my grandad. Happy days. The golf course isn't too bad either. Or should I say wasn't that bad. I am talking over 40 years ago, after all.

we used to sit on the beach watching the shells and missiles land in the sea. They were fired regularly from the MOD firing range at Eakmeals a bit father down the coast from Sellafield.

What right do councils have to tell you how much of your income should be spent on Groceries and Bills yet they call my ex to ask her about my claim. They try making people to cut outgoings so the council can ask for more rent or Council tax. i feel this is against human rights or something. According to CAB they are getting hundreds of people on PIP saying the same thing.
Asda. I had a diabetic Hypo a woman coughed by me so i moaned , led to argument with her and Asda Staff, Due to the Hypo my brain doesn't fully function and i go into fight or flight mode because my brain senses fear of low blood sugar. This led me to become very confused, feeling picked on and so i swore at folks. I got banned from Asda, complained and was still told if i swear again i am banned. I have used Asda 12 months with no issues, they now know what happened was disability discrimination i even have a email stating my Diabetes is no excuse so now they can go court and pay up that way they may take notice and make sure no one else gets discrimated against for swearing due to a mental or phsical illness.

yep, agreed. But I do wish part of that rebellion hadn't been smoking. Even though the postman's knock, did end up in a bed date. Fcuk sake, it wasn't even the first time.
