It's not just Gompels apparently, the other 3 main PPE suppliers have similar statements on their website.

Who knows. It'll be one for revisiting in better detail when this is all over.

I would have assumed that NHS Scotland would already have a PPE framework in place so this becomes an issue if Gompells and the other 3 main competitors form part of that framework. If they don't and existing suppliers can't meet demand then is it fair for PHE to monopolise the supply. I dunno the answer to that.

Perhaps Gompels got the wrong end of the stick or their remaining stock already belongs to PHEngland.
