if i have a 200ml bottle containing 50ml of flavour how much 7.2% do i add to end up with 12mg.
tried using calculator but couldn't work it out.

i'm not really to arsed i've got base which is 70/30 just want the amount of 7.2 to add the n is pg based but i haven't got vg so it is what it is

to work it out to get to 1.2% from 7.2% you just divide by six, since 1.2 is 1/6 of 7.2.

200ml/6 is 33.3. so add that then you will have 83.3ml pg in the bottle.

adding the rest from your base mix your end result will be right about 40vg/60pg, if i’ve worked it out right. should be fine.

If you need to add 10ml of 18mg, ie one nic shot of one fifth the liquid volume, to 50ml of zero nic juice to make 3mg, you will need to add 40ml of 72mg to 200ml of nic to make 12mg. The nic makes up one part - if you divide 200 by six and add a sixth of the total of nic the dilution will be one seventh and you'll end up with juice just under 10.3 instead of 12mg. It will probably still be good, but you may vape it a bit faster.

As @Crispycritters said 40ml is the correct amount and not 33.3ml.

Final ratio will be 58.33% VG and 41.67% PG.

Depends. If the total volume is 200ml, then 33.3ml is correct. If the total volume is 240ml, then 40ml is correct. OP said the bottle was 200ml in size, with 50ml concentrate.

you always divide 7.2 by six to get to 1.2. because 1.2 is 1/6 of 7.2. you need to brush up on your arithmetic
