I'm fairly new to this quit smokin a month back started vaping cheap disposable ecigs realised the batteries weren't gonna last me so i bought a jacvapour vgo2 but i've since found out a lot of the tanks and such aren't available for the 808 threads i like it but i feel i want more vapour so im lookin for a vv model i've been looking at ego twists, vision spinners and im rather interested in the smoktech ego winder which i discovered on vaper caper thanks to this site just looking for some advice from more experienced vapers as I dont want to end up with a red herring also some suggestions on tanks would be much appreciated.
Thank you all for your replies.

Howdy!
Gosh, I remember being in your position... Kind of regret even bothering with cigalikes now!
If you wish to go VV, there are hundreds of mods available.
Personally, it all depends on what you want.
I'm a tinkerer, I like to fiddle with bits and bobs. Ie, I'm a nerd.
So, where am I getting with this?
Well, I'll tell you.
As much as I liked the 'small form' factor of the egos, there wasn't much to play with. So, I thought "Sod it, lets go all in" and got a vamo.
Nice display, VV and VW (Vw = No fiddling about when changing tanks... just set and forget) ;) AND, I could check the resistance of coils when I got round to it (Which was a week after buying the bloody thing!)
Yes It's big...
But it proved to be bombproof until I took it cycling and it flew out my pocket (I was a dick and didn't check it was done up)...
Plus, it can be short(ish), or huge! So, if you're a show off, you can show all the ladies your length of metal ;)

Ninjaassasin1983, You can pretty much use any tank you like with that as it looks to me to be a standard ego/510 connection, another user feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, it's late and it's been a long day.
http://www.vapercaper.co.uk/collections/atomisers/products/kanger-evod - these are lovely, (in my opinion) and look lovely on top of a ego, also the heads are replaceable meaning you get more life out of the tank, without having to shell out for more, and down the line you can look at re-wicking them yourself.
Although if you like the look of that and aren't too set on the ego twist type battery, these kits http://myepack.co.uk/kits/e-vod-kit.html seem to be a real winner with a second battery for when you are charging, any other questions, just shout :)

The jacvapour and cello tank I've been using are good but I just want a bigger volume of vapour that's why I'm thinking of a vv the ego twists seem to be scarce as in there's a lotta fakes about but the smoktech ego winder looks good to me good price too

Also another thought for tanks would be a pro-tank mini. In my opinion they are just lush but some find them 'too airy' but they are a pyrex and metal tank rather than the plastic ones. Also available from myepack :)

I've seen the protanks they're:-D part of the reason I wanna move to ego rather than 808

yeah they are lovely, i personally prefer the look of them to most other tanks and i like the feel and the vape from them an awful lot too. I have never had a 808 set-up but it seems that there is alot more available for 510/ego :) hope that you find something you like, be sure to let us know what you go for and how it treats you, best of luck with it all. It can be a bit daunting at first but don't worry it gets much easier, and just remember, there is no such thing as a silly question. we have all been there ourselves, C.

As soon as VC can get his arse out of his pit I'm sure he'll sort you out NA. Just about most folk maintain an eGo in their collection, the C Twist in particular, long after they have graduated to all things large and and shiny. They are such an all round solid piece of working kit.

In your position I would consider the Aspire Mini and a few replacement heads. Best thing is to let VC wake up and give him a call on the landline and get it all sorted. One thing about using our Marketplace vendors is, you won't get robbed. Well not normally anyway.
