The fact you had no cravings proves you are getting the nicotine. 12 isn’t that high but we all react differently to it. You could try dropping to 6 or 9 mg and see how you get on.
I’d recommend drinking more water and perhaps get yourself some vitamins to help boost your immune system. Quitting ciggies can do all kinds of weird stuff to your body. It’s not uncommon to feel bad for a while, get a bad cough or catch something else.
The other thing I’d look at is your other habits. Has anything else changed since you quit smoking? More tea and coffee for example? We can often overcompensate when removing something from our lives.
If you’re worried then go to your doctor, don’t just rely on a bunch of vapers and their anecdotal evidence
