they're all i use now im thinking of giving the new efest purples a go though
have you seen the full specifications on the VTC4's the 30A rating is the continuous rating, they are rated for upto stupid levels for short bursts, i cant forsee ever needing to change tbh, who is going to be running their batteries down from full to empty in one button press? if i remember correctly it was a rating of over 100A for a 8 second burst.... i dont even worry about how low my coils go now, no need with them amp limits.
I did check the full specs and I always check at battery university site online - yeah I don't check my ohms everytime like I used to I built a 0.15 quad coil on my dripper it was so hot. too hot for me
No, don't remove the protection board from the battery itself! That battery is not insulated properly and thats why its firing even when the switch is off.
yeah after reading the specs i was literally mind blown, i was worrying about batteries blowing if i went too low lol, im not a massive fan of how hot it gets with a really low sub ohm build.... i know it will chuck the vapour but if you cant vape it because its too hot you cant throw a cloud across the room, with my 0.4ohm tri twist 28g i have found a nice balance of heat flavour and vapour.
This is the battery I got with the kit should I remove the protection circuit?

i like around 0.7 in my kayfun or taifun gt and 0.5 in my dripper i dont like it to burn the mouth off me
Theres your problem right there. The metal running down the side of the battery = daft. Its coming in contact with the tube and completing the circuit. Youre lucky that thing didnt vent.
