New to RDA's - IGO L question

Just go my IGO L in vap mail today. I have a simple question this is new to me and may sound a little dumb. Should there be holes in th centre posts for he wire to be inserted or does the wire wrap round the actual screw then tighten down??? Silly I know but I am sure I saw a video where the wires are inserted into the posts and the screws tighten down onto it.
It doesn't look like thereare n holes in the centre posts.....

The igo w has holes in the posts but the igo L doesn't.

made my first coil.....had my first drip vape.......what a difference....4/5 wraps of .25 gave me 1.9 ohm...dry burn no hot spots...dripped some juice and bingo....the flavour and throat hit was immense....gonna go and play with some juices.

Hey Daffs - question for you (and others I suppose).

I've just got my first dripper, a Yada from stealthvape and I'm finding it very different from my tank experiences - the throat hit is massive, almost painful. And its hot, really hot. And I'm not getting the clouds of vapour I was expecting.

Is this your experience?

I've built my own coil, five wraps of .25 Kanthal on 3mm silica - my Vamo gives a reading of 1.5ohms and I'm up at 14 volts to get a half decent vape. I'm vaping a Foggy Dew mocca at 12% nic - bottle doesn't state % of PG or VG

Now, I know that my coli building needs some work but are you getting similar?

I was hoping that dripping was going to be a revelation but this isn't what I was expecting.

I have been tinkering around, I have found the throat hits quite strong depending on juice, am using my own juice now which is 50/50 pg/vg with a 1.9 ohm reading at 8-9 watts which im finding just right for me. I used .25 kanthal with around 4/5 turns. Reading on svd says 1.8 sometimes 1.9. This is using 2mm silica folded over into a loop, once in place I turn the loop over the centre screws so it sits on top of the coil, then make sure air hole is in line with coil. Works for me....but I only started dripping yesterday lol....its worth just playing around and finding what works for you. It all takes practice which is why I got it in the first place....

Got some new juice today so made a new coil - must be getting better because this one is reading a nice fat steady 2.2ohms.

This one seems to be much better.

I think practice and perseverance are the order of the day with a dripper!
