Currently I have 3 mods : Kangertech 200, Reuleaux 2/3, and Smoke Alien 200W, and a few Kangertech, SteamCrave and Smok tanks.
I mix my own juice in upto 1ltr quantities at a time.
Can't cloud chase for love or money but I love the social aspect and health benefits compared to smoking.
From a health point of view I cough far far far far less than I was doing whilst smoking, essentially not at all unless fighting a bug, I can hit the high notes when singing like hadn't been able to for a decade or more, don't run out of puff running up the stairs and find I don't stumble over some words like I was doing whilst smoking. Didn't know about that last benefit until it happened to me.
Have managed to get 3 other people off the evil weed and hope to convert more.
Love figuring out improved vaping and rebuilding techniques and trying out new kit. Still saving a packet compared to fag packets.
For those wishing to see the back story, and for my own benefit so that it is committed to text...
My first ecig was an Intellicig cigarette looking job, probably back in 2012. Didn't really take to it and it fell into disuse.
I gave ecigs another try in about 2013 this time with a Nicolite cigarette looking job. This one worked for me and I stuck with it. I also learned about how they worked and through various searches I figured I could lower the cost of use by simply popping the top off with a fork prong or thin screwdriver and refilling with a petrol station bough 10ml bottle. I was so green, I had no idea about other flavours and merely stuck with tobacco like substitutes.
Thanks to the Nicolite I began to wean myself off nicotine, accidentally at first then on purpose. I first realised I was not craving nicotine as much when, on my drive to a customer location where I would be presenting all day, my Nicolite ran out of battery. Normal nicotine addicted me would have simply pulled off the motorway at whatever motorway service station I found and bought a packet of the evil weed to satisfy my cravings. I mean, a whole day with no cigs!! But I didn't, I calmly thought "Bother, but no problem, not going to get an angsty, I'll just go cold turkey for a day". It worked. I didn't immediately rush out during lunch hour and replace my ecig or buy a packet of fags. In fact I only bothered recharging my ecig a few hours after getting home that evening. After that I would accidentally / on purpose leave my ecig behind when going off to work, days of not using it turned into weeks and extended into months of not using the ecig and eventually I was off nicotine completely. 2 years of not smoking or vaping.
Until Paris of 2015. Damn you Paris! I wouldregularly visit for work and after a few visits, where I might smoke 1 cig over the course of 3 days, to socialise and network (had to be done). I would not smoke another one until my next visit a few months later. However on one fateful trip one cigarette got under my defences and managed to hook my brain onto nicotine again. Luckily my work colleagues dissuaded me from buying a packet of fags, which I was desperately craving, so instead I opted for a mechanical ecig in the most lurid petroleum rainbow effect I could find. Perhaps something so ridiculous looking might serve my purpose whilst subconsciously pushing me to stop because it looked so stupid. It didn't and I found myself quite liking my 'recorder' like tank and battery combo.
During this phase I managed to get my wife's cousin, a Marlboro Lights smoker who would get through a packet per day, to start on ecigs. He took to them, and there began a very beneficial escalation of ecig paraphenalia.
He bought me my first proper box mod and tank, and started selling ecig equipment online.
I got him into rebuilding his own atomisers.
He introduced me to accesories like resistance checking devices to make rebuilds easier.
I introduced him to different flavours beyond tobacco.
He got me onto creamy flavours in addition to the fruity ones I was trying
I got him into DIY mixing... the rest is pretty much 2 confirmed serious vapers who are into mixing our own and sharing new devices and our 1 litre concoctions amongst ourselves.
