Ok, bit of back info first, skip to the end if you want - bought a TC device (Sigelei 75) last week.
Now I bought it for a new device, removable 18650, a 'lot' of watts and finally TC to try and future proof me a little.
Loving tooting away in power / watts but fancy a bit of play / dabble in to TC.
So in prep for that I tried to get Ni200 wire, as we searched the reels we found NickelChromium, I bought it as no one in the shop knew if it was different (it was cheap anyway so I am not bothered if it is 'dud').
Now, I have tried all week to find out the answer but keep getting answers from yes, no to don't know (Shops, Friends, Google, Forum searches etc).
So, to the most knowledgeable community out there:-

1) Can I use NickelChromium for TC coil building?
2) Is Ni200 the same as NickelChromium?
3) If the answers above are no, what is NickelChromium for?
4) Should I throw it in the bin?

Many, many thanks for answer to come :)

1: No
2: No
3: Nickel Chromium (Nichrome) is a standard resistance wire used for heating coils, some claim to prefer the taste others say it's awful - there have been some concerns about Chromium 6 formation with Nichrome wire but that's a discussion for another time.
4: Your choice, many people use it every day, try it if you want in place of a regular Kanthal coil - If you like it keep it, if you don't bin it.

Legend.
Will watch your video and work from that instead of jumping in!!!! (yet again).
Latest purchase today was 0.4mm Ni200 which the steam engine tells me I need to wind more times than a town clock to be any use :18::18:

You should aim for a build of about 0.07 to 1.2 - thats pretty much the best region for temp control, go with about 12 wraps of 0.4mm and you should get a decent result...
