PPE Acetate Help

Great work Simon I feel the same as @rew and if you need anything else don't be afraid to shout I think there are a lot of people who would help if required. :2thumbsup:

I only opted to supply locally as the logistics chain was still letting down the smaller nursing homes and carers, this is still the case, but if you cannot get the Acetate then try and see if there is a local group supplying joint effort Visors, my mum did find a group on BookFace but fortunately I've managed to remain independent thanks to some help.

Try to keep on printing while you try and find an outlet, if push comes to shove you could always contribute to the national pool.
Er... the new member you've quoted and liked is quoting a line from your opening post.

Unfortunately the previous filament has been a total nightmare to work with and caused too many failed prints and had to babysit every single print, so I have had to abandon the roll, I've complained to Amazon but it has left me short, after much searching only to find the brands I trusted are either out of stock or the greedy profiteering knobfacedtwatfuckingcunts have doubled their price :swearing:.

I have managed to find only one option I feel safe with taking a punt on:
Amazon product ASIN B084V22JCK
Balance is now £14.20

I have gathered up some end of roll filament which has kept me going this afternoon and most of tomorrow, new stuff won't arrive until Thursday so I might have to wrestle with the purple crap until then.

Might just be me, but can't see the link?

With the printing hell I have had over the past few days using untested overpriced brands I have had to back order a reliable brand (Geetech) that I know prints without issues & more importantly I can leave unattended.
Should be in stock May 3rd plus delivery, hopefully the Blue due tomorrow will behave and will last me until the Black arrives.

I just want to thank you for your donations that has kept me going this long, I would have not been able to produce and or indeed supply any without the help & support I've received and more importantly all the healthcare workers that have benefited from our collective effort, all of whom are aware that this has been a collective effort and asked me to pass on their thanks :clapping:

125 visors have been distributed directly to those in most need: care homes, district nurses, mobile carers, pharmacy (to distribute where they see fit; doctors surgeries etc.).
20 more are being dispatched today and 20 more hopefully by Friday.

If everything goes well I have enough supplies to last at least a month.
