Pre-made Clapton wire from eBay - BEWARE

So, recently having fractured my hand and been stupidly busy I've not had time to make my own Clapton wire anymore so decided to purchase some online. Without much research or looking around I went for the easiest option eBay.

Without naming any sellers in case I get into some sort of legal shit. Stay away from any of the wires that look like the image attached.

Worst wire ever. Not even sure wtf the material is. Ohms jumping around like mad. Can't even get it to glow. Tried on several mods n tanks, same thing. Went out to local B&M purchases done youde Clapton. Worked great first build. I'm not saying get youde, but don't go with nameless eBay ones.

Ive got a few spools of this and I have to agree its very hit and miss, you live and learn lol.
On a lighter note ordered the coilmaster 314 clapton builder earlier hopefully this will live up to its claims, we will see.

I switched to Temco wire after I made some coils from UD wire for a velocity clone. The UD wire had a very foul taste which I thought was due to the RDA I was using. That coil master looks interesting, but I find it easier to make fused claptons than standard claptons. I'll be curious to read your review.

Hoping it might arrive next week, looks pretty foolproof but we'll see. I think its only downfall is the length, looks like 5inch is the max but if it makes perfect wire everytime ill be happy.

I always bathe the wire or premade coil in isopropyl alcohol. Amazing how much crap comes out. Same for all tanks.
