Hang On though? You have an EVL Alien coming?? :)
I would think that perhaps you should hold off until you have used and familiarised yourself with that Beastie. ;) It is a VERY different thing in comparison and I would suggest it potentially "could" change your perceptions of what you'd be looking for in a Bridge moving forwards? :)
Hehehe, yeah, there’s an Evl Alien on the way, thanks to @John R (not blaming, just giving him credit for convincing me). My thoughts are that I should own 1 or 2 of the best complete bridge/tank solutions and 1 or 2 traditional bridges and Boro tanks. This should both allow me to find an ideal mtl vape, have a rotation, and have lots to play with and challenge my fragile fine motor skills.

Unfortunately, one never knows if they’ll like something until they try it…the proof is in the pudding!

From all the input here, I’ll be dropping the Jenna, my wallet thanks you!

I am wondering if I should pick up an aluminum tank and one of the Boro covers with a rubber bung, thus limiting spillage and wear on the gasket. Is the aluminum less reactive than the delrin (Pom) or the ultem (pei) tanks? Is there any other reason to buy/not buy an aluminum tank?I’m thinking this setup could last a while. Function comes first, then form, for me that is.
I’d say no to the rubber bung metal Boro doors. They’ll weep just as much, anyway.
With practice glass doors are just as easy, to use, as rubber bungs, I’ve found. And your hand doesn’t obscure the fill port, as you’re filling.

I did buy a couple of 20ml needle point silicone bottles, which helps, filling rubber bung Boros. But I just use the og bottles for glass doors.

I'm always really torn on the sliding glass fill method.
On the one hand it looks so much cleaner than an unsightly rubber tab.
On the other when a gasket pinches after cleaning its infuriating.

As with all things vape related it'll come down to your personal preference, personally I don't see the point in having a non transparent boro glass with a silicone stopper at that point why not just use a snailtank, crypt or kraken?

I use all types of boros that I can get my hands on, I've gone out of my way to try every available type and other than aesthetics and occasionally trouble fitting large bridges there is very little difference between them.

I should actually pay for POTV, or at least pay those of you who use your valuable time helping me/others with your valuable insights. This thread alone has saved me money, and spared me the frustration of buying all these things and being unhappy with the result. :clapping:

Food for thought that my theorizing on both the tank and the door was completely wrong! Oh well, live and learn… Since I believe the Sxk BB I ordered comes with the pom tank, I think I’ll save up for an authentic Limelight!

My plan is to utilize my BB as an out and about vape, and it is filling on the go that worries me with normal Boro door. I’m not the biggest fan of being covered in juice, in public or at home. Therefore, my curiosity regarding the tanks with silicone bungs… My suspicion is that I will suck at toying with the glass while f ex waiting for the train, and will manage to break it or the destroy the gasket, without a backup.

I think your worries are unfounded there, when the boro is in the billet box you can only slide the glass down so far so you don't have to worry about mess as long as you tilt the mod on its back. its strong glass so you shouldn't be able to break it and while I agree the gaskets can be a massive pain in the ass I've never had one pinch or fail outside of cleaning, while in use it is easily as reliable as a silicone bung if not more.

As long as you lube up the gasket on every refill you should be fine, the glass should be lubed up also on first use or following a clean. It should always slide up n down with no resistance.
If you feel resistance, stop... slide out the glass and lube up both the glass and the gasket.

Thanks, that is very educational! I really didn’t know that, and I’ve read several places that the only sure-fire way to fill it without spillage is by taking it out of the mod. Even though I hate those silicone tabs as much as the next man, I can usually manage to fill up a tank with only a drop or two of juice escaping. I’m skeptical as I know how big of a bumbling fool I can be!

Yeah the trouble with a long running incredibly popular mod like the billet box is that misinformation spreads far and wide.
I've never filled a boro outside of the mod that to me seems ludicrous, if had more mess from silicone bungs because if the hole is too small to allow air to escape it can get really messy really fast.
The people who complain about fill problems with boros are usually using big 120+ eliquid bottles to fill which is always messy if you're not careful.
Since you're a mtl user you shouldn't need more than a 30ml bottle (I use 10ml bottles)
