Hello, great forum. Thanks. Been v helpful, found a lot out just by searching so far.
I’ve been vaping for two months and am happy to have quit a 20 year smoking habit.

My gear is: mtl - Tecc arc 5, cs slim tank, 1.5 coils. Finding this good for portability, battery life and when I want a throaty hit.
dtl - Voopoo drag 2, Uforce T2 tank, N3 coils. Like it a lot. Using 70 30 juice. Enjoying the flavour, range of flavours and clouds....

....although...I find the clouds are massive with the drag 2; This will be a problem with the smoke alarm when my windows aren’t wide open in the winter! No probs with the Arc.

I’d like a kit to enjoy dtl (and a high vg juice) indoors, with a smaller amount of vapour if it’s possible?

Am I barking up the wrong tree with dtl completely - I.e does less vapour equal less flavour/weaker operation.
I’ve asked my local shop though they’ve not been able to help really. If there is nothing like this, was considering the Aspire Zelos/Nautilus 2s, plus finding some top notch 50 50 juice for the cold months.

Thoughts and advice appreciated

Hi and welcome to the planet.

ive not used the voopoo but looking at the coils you could keep the mod and tank and use one of the other coils which need lower wattage.

Note: These coils are compatible with the VOOPOO UFORCE, VOOPOO UFORCE T1, and the VOOPOO UFORCE T2 sub-ohm tanks. They may not be compatible with other VOOPOO or non-VOOPOO Tanks.

Lovely, thanks @MrDJ

Coils! :14:

(I’ve tried a D4) So will try the P2, nice one.

- and spin some funk for me! Am a saxophonist

The new Nautilus mesh coils might be worth considering. 0.7 ohm 20 to 25 watts recommended. Intended for Nautilus 2S tank apparently, but should work in any Nautilus tank.

Thanks @rew, nice one
Was looking at the Nautilus 2s tank.

(Can’t find those P2 Voopoo coils

Have a few questions, maybe you or @MrDJ could help :)

Could I use high VG juice in a Nautilus 2S tank running the 0.7 coils (or the 0.4, I have also seen)?

Could I use that tank on a drag 2 or Tecc Arc 5 mod?

Lastly, is it cool to switch between a mtl coiled tank and a dtl coiled tank on a mod, esp when out an about, as long as I use the correct wattage?

Thanks

Would have thought that the mesh 0.7 and the 0.4 coils would be fine with 70 VG.

You can use the Nautilus on any mod with a 510 connection, which is most mods.

You can switch between MTL and DL tanks no problem on a mod. As you say, be wary of the correct wattage.

^this. thanks rew.
when you say high vg as said 70vg should be fine but 80vg is pushing it on them small coils.

Awesome - thank you very much for answering guys, it’s appreciated!

Switching between mtl and dtl tanks has kinda blown my head off haha! Opens up a lot, in ways.

Have just bought a Nautilus 2s and am about to prime a 0.7 mesh. Now which flavour, hmm :)

thanks again

@rew and @MrDJ

Nice one!

Just gotta see how long these last for/ but they’re doing everything I was looking for :) :)
Lower clouds, less wattage, can use high vg juice (...up to 70 ;) and it’s a much lighter, more portable mini sub setup I have now

Which in case won’t set off the smoke alarm in Wintertime too

Have enjoyed half a tank, on arc 5, at 24 watts - v pleasant flavour, moderate, nicely small clouds hahaha!

This was a missing piece of a vape puzzle for me. I enjoy big vapour sometimes; this gives versatility.

I’m grateful for your advice
