well mine arrived today ZT i'll get you a sample in the post sometime this week. I have been reading elsewhere you need lower than 0.6 to make it work, and this had slightly worried me as I could only find 0.8 from a german supplier that sells loads of vaping wire sliica etc

well got home and said I need to do this now to find out sorry babe

ok the Kanthal 0.8 x 0.1 5mtr roll as a sample £7 inc delivery (wish I had got the 10mtr know lol)

I normally go with 3/4 wraps twisted gives me around 1.2 -1.4, so went with 5/6 wrap, this is a lot easier than wire and I think it will help a lot of new ppl to re-buildables as you can see they are not touching and there is no need for the drill bit method etc using this ribbon.

ok the test time what does the meter say wow 1.2 bang on

well test fire time instant all lit up not one hotspot no messing about with the coils

what does it vape like, hell its a Ihybrid vapes like a damn train

so if ppl say 0.8 wont work then well its does pictures never lie , but as todd said if you like a high ohm you will be looking at less than 0.5 ribbon as you will not be able to gain enough wraps on the wick.

it is and so easy, the sooner some vendors got on the boat on this the better, I also used to struggle at first with coils, but i know I can do a twisted in no time at all. the ribbon so damn easy and hopefully will bring more ppl to genny tanks as I know it can put ppl off, reading posts like it took me 2 hrs, oh my coils popped etc.

Did you need to heat the wire first?

nope never heated the wire, i just cut around 10" off, placed it on the Neg post before placing the wick in then just wrapped it up.

How are you finding it? I'm wondering if the juices under the wrap will be getting burnt as there is nowhere for them to escape to. Only a guess, but I'm assumingthat if that does happen it'll be absorbed with the positive of more output.
