Rob's "RNLI" Fund Raiser Raffle.

Having a grandfather who built fishing boats and yachts and who volunteered with the lifeboat, I spent most of my childhood helping out with my gran at RNLI fundraisers. I'm not too fussed about a prize, I have everything I'll ever need but I'll definitely pop some money in the pot.

Funny little sotry - I was in a pub in Cornwall any years ago and they had an RNLI lifeboat collection box behind the bar. nothing unusual in that, but underneath was a set of initials that I couldn't for the life of me work out - FYCACITLP. I eventually conceded defeat and asked the barman what it stood for - For Your Curiosity, A Coin In The Lifeboat Please. Well played sir, well played.

Always dropped in a good donation after being rescued and even when all they could do was watch us rescue ourselves it was nice to know they were there for if we ended up in the water lol
