Great.

Let's lift restrictions, pack 60k in Wembley along with other sporting events, stop people social distancing and wearing masks and stop people from isolating if they've been in direct contact with someone who has covid as the multibillion pound app is shelved, and school kids no longer need to isolate either.

Great plan. Sounds like a real winner.

And people think Hancock was an idiot. I'll take a dozen Hancocks over a single Gavin Williamson. :30:

Do the injections you've all had not work or something?
What's the problem?

They have certainly helped there be less deaths and hospitalisations … which was the point ….

the stats speak to those who will read and understand them

They do work but in some cases ie vunerable folks they may not stop all complications, add to the fact the longer the virus is around the more variants may occur, and one may beat all the vaccines or cause one major problem which the jabs don't give cover and this would lead to more deaths or even the virus becoming unbeatable. Then what?. I think some folks take things to lightly, maybe they haven't lost anyone close or seen what can happen apart from on TV and that doesn't hit home.

They do work in most cases slowing down the death rate and slowing the most serious case.
The longer the virus is around you will get more variation it may (as is the usual way of viruses) fizel out and become weaker.

Then what?

You say some people take things lightly.
I say some people take things to much to heart and wind themselves up.

We have had really bad viruses in the past and they have killed tens of thousands and barely made the news.

The NHS is nearly overwhelmed most winters with respatory illness and it is just a foot note on the news.

I'm not trying to down play this virus it's a bad one but we need to live with it.

If people want to self isolate and keep distance and wear a useless mask get on with it but let the rest of use get on with our lives.

I feel the lock downs have had a very negative result on society.
There may well turn out that the lock downs have killed more people than the viruses
