You wouldn't really expect them to say anything else and yes it is probably a dangerous/ risky experiment.
On the subject of class sizes my daughter - a TA, is currently teaching, yes, I said teaching a class of 34 primary school pupils, for a minimum of one hour per day, five days a week, works 8.30am until 3.45pm ish, and is only entitled to a 30 minute lunch time break (no tea breaks), wtaf.

I know mate, I was a plasterer for 25 years, 7.30am to 6pm and beyond, hardly ever a break. Before gobbing off and turning it into a who's the strongest man, woman competition, try doing my daughters job for a week or two, working with disadvantaged and special needs children, teaching children that hit you. Try doing that without any relevant teaching qualifications and scant training, something that is not in your job description and where you earn next to fuck all, compared to the real and qualified teachers.

It's crazy. Only half the population fully vaccinated and yet they've been stressing for weeks how vital both doses are against delta.

Agreed, I do think that lifting mask requirements is madness - it's cheap and easy to carry on with.
