wait, i’ll make up an anecdote to prove the point and pretend it was something that actually happened in reality.

so this guy i met had covid in his knee but he didn’t die even though they put him in a covid knee ward so if you think about it there is no risk and the figures are all manipulated etc etc

If we were going to wait for all adults to be vaccinated, we may have been in for a long wait.

I think it’s inevitable that fewer younger people would take up the offer of a vaccine, because they don’t think there is much risk of them becoming seriously ill with Covid. It’s a great shame that so many people are only interested in themselves, they can’t grasp that maybe there is a need to ‘take one for the team’ so to speak. It’s not necessarily just about us as individuals, it’s about who we can pass the virus on to, and more new variants potentially emerging. New variants that could become vaccine-resistant, or the inevitable risk that we end up exporting it to a country that doesn’t have sufficient vaccines yet

I make nothing of it. Nobody should make anything of it.
It is a phone in program that has been posted on youtube.
Anybody can phone in and say anything.

You can tell that we are running out of people wanting the vaccination by looking at the numbers having the first dose.
It is getting down to very low numbers because younger age groups are not taking it up at the level the older ages did.
Those are simple verifiable facts. Is it because young people can not be bothered ? I do not know. Perhaps someone has done some polling on the subject.

In Scotland over 70% of 18 to 29 year olds have had a first jab. Not sure what the uk figure is but I am fairly sure that a majority are having it. " A minority of young people can not be bothered" does not have the same ring"
