Actually 0.2mm will be high, try twisting 2 strands and heating them. Then wrap it as normal. I'd only use 0.2mm in a dual coil.

Same as.I got .20 before, pretty much useless unless you like high ohm builds I've found. You want some .28 or .30/.32 if you wanna be doing microcoils. I did the exact same thing as you though, was pretty frustrated.

looks like its 0.20 mm NOT 0.20 AWG.. way to thin and pretty much unusable. and a common mistake. you need 0.28 -0.32mm thats why coils wont compress its to thin , to springy and breaks to easy. best shot you can try is a NON touching NON micro coil, just a standard coil with 4 wraps should give you around 1.8 ohms. try to compress that stuff and you'll just end up with shitty ohms all over the place and hot spots and most likely the legs snapping off.
