Sxk dope issues

Hey apes please help.

I'm tearing my hair out trying to get this dope rba to work.

The build I have in it is a 6.5 wrap 2.5mm Id ni80 26ga round wire build that I use for most of my mtl bridges.

The resistance is usually between .59 to .64
But this stupid dope keeps jumping around from .7 to 1.8!
It's not My mod because I've tried it with both of my cthulhu and my billet box, even my ohm tab is struggling with it.

There are no clearance issues and I'm at a loss here.

Any suggestions??????

Looking at my deck, though it’s not SXK. I’d check the airflow pin it 100% tight. It might be worth stripping the whole thing, and rebuilding it. It’s not unknown to have swarf cause shorts. Other than that, Check your coil isn’t shorting on the chimney.

Yeah I've just sorted it it wasn't the af pin but the negative threads that also unscrew for some unknown reason.

I have the authentic too I only got the sxk because it was super cheap and black lol

@Phrasing,

I've faced all sorts of problems with my Ohm Tab giving me false readings, and got myself right worked up over it. It doesn't hep when the mod and wicking changes it yet again.

The best thing I've found is to go back to basis and cut a length of wire suit the resistance of the build and then wrap it to fit the deck accordingly. At least I know the important bit is right, regardless of the tech.

The are so many variables in building and only the resistance and total length of wire really matter.

As long as you're not shorting things, and your batteries are suitable, you should be fine.

My main issue is that I knew what the resistance was supposed to be because its my go to build. And small inaccuracies in ohms can actually make a pretty big difference to the performance and longevity of the coil, even if it works.

And as I said it turned out to be the negative threads that were messing things up.

As far as ohm tab issues goes, one thing I noticed is that because the threads on some boro bridges are longer than rda/rta's it can mess up the "spring loaded" aspect of ohm tabs.
Taking it apart cleaning everything fixed that issue to some extent but as you know I'm impulsive so I've ordered a second ohm tab so my BP cranky panda can just be for bridges.

Funny you should say that. My tap has been playing up, since I first screwed a boro atty.
I’ve only a Coilmaster tab, and an old unprotected one, at that. So it looks like BP Mods are going to get more money from me.(via V101)

Lol typical right. I can vouch for the angry panda it's way better than the coil master one I have.
