The 3d printing thread

Ta, pretty simple tbh. I'll get to modelling that tonight when I get home from work.. As for a 6S 18650, for that voltage, I'd be going LiPo.. the sag on the Batteries would be horrendous.

I was thinking 2s but tri parallel haha.
But yeah, lipos are better... gonna design something to be printed as an internal structure to hide the wiring etc

Raguri, this what ya wanted?..

7mm shim.. my printer's back in action, so I'll do a print and see how it fairs..

...

7mm Will also work very well. Just measured it. 7mm would mean I could make a nice internal piece as well...
Wait, it's still... How did the test go!?

I derped, forgot the recess for the lid >_< Swapping material out for PLA a mo, as I had stupid warping with ABS. It'll be back running in 5 mins..

Testing out PETG as a plastic or mod based stuff.

Loving this stuff so far, strong as ABS but with zero warping or lifting when printing on glass without even a heated bed.

Only downside so far is its quite high printing temps of 240C+ (not great for hotends with PTFE lining) but excellent for Vape gear as its temp resistant.

Got a full box MOD printing right now for a strength test, but this is really looking like a good option for DIY MOD makers and Vape gear, even food safe, so can be used for print driptip, chuff caps.

Looks good, will need to get a few all metal throats for this stuff. Although, while I know it's expensive, been looking at ColorFab-XT. Basically PLA with the strength of ABS, no warping and comes in lots of colours..

Loving that triple battery sled, great work. Any spares laying around? :D
