Ok, so I know there's been a couple of threads on patina lately, and I've even put a couple of sneaky pics up on other threads.
But I've finally got this finished, cleaned and threads polished. It works just as well as it did when it was plain brass, and I love it to bits.
The shiny parts are cannibalised from my SS Nem and the rest is pure patina'd brass.

Ammonia and Maldon Sea Salt, basically, suspend the parts you want to patina over a sealable jar of Ammonia, pour a solution of ammonia and sea salt over the bits and seal. Give it an hour, turn it, give it another hour, repeat until you get the look you like, rinse under running water, clearcoat it and then clean up all the conductive bits. Job jobbed.
It took 5 days all told, including waiting between coats etc.

Must say well worth the wait and looks stunning think I'm gonna have a go with my copper nemi when I get it off the slow boat lol
