UK Gov To Ban Disposables?

Gotta love when conversations get bogged down with semantics... by the usual knicker twisters.

when the gov are gonnae ban something and it’s no 100% clear what things are actually included, it’s quite a relevant discussion, no?

Interesting, from Innokin's Trine post:

Innokin's forward-thinking approach also aligns with the upcoming EU battery regulation, which mandates that all battery-powered devices, including e-cigarettes, must feature batteries that are removable and replaceable by the end user.

I read that the other day. That opens up a whole can of worms. Buggar me, what are they going to do about electric cars.

That sounds like a dig at phone manufacturers.

the EU have some good ideas. that usb c standard cable thing was a stroke of genius :)

It was always such a con by the big phone makers when they started sealing batteries inside £1,000 phones and making them so difficult and expensive to fix in an attempt to keep people on the upgrade / replacment treadmill and sell more phones.

and some crap ones like tpd's 2ml tank capacity and only 10ml juice with nicotine.
No choice on 10ml bottle size but individual countries had a choice on tank size, Germany didn't restrict tank capacity when they implemented tpd?

No Germany didn't, nor did some others such as France & Italy. The UK bureaucrats of course gold plated just about everything the EU ever came out with. Both are pointless rules though and more are likely on the way.
