In my 5 years of vaping i can say that ive never had any it could be that maybe you could be run down to giving up the smokes it can take a long while to get it out of your system ........

Herpes can be a cause of mouth ulcers, as well.

I now get terrible mouth ulcers if I vape owt over 20% PG but this only started about 6 months after I'd been vaping, I used to be fine with 60:40 liquids.

I think it's definitely worth doing a few experiments with your juices @kiwilander; my advice would be to try different ratios of VGG or different flavours as the first step — only change one thing at a time if possible (it helps if you DIY your juices) and give each change a week or so to be sure of the effect (if any).

I got mouth ulcers when i smoked, i get mouth ulcers now. I'm also susceptable to cold sores and i got a massive one a week into vaping.
I don't think its to do with vaping as such, but its probably an irritation caused by vaping from hot vapour or flavours etc same as smoking with hot smoke and tobacco irritating the mouth.

Cold sores are definitely caused by herpes.

Yep, it’s the flavourings. I get them from certain strongly flavoured savoury snacks as well.

They ruin the flavour of my vape too.
So they are on the restricted list.
